Instituted: 1899.
Description: The obverse of this medal bears the head of the reigning
monarch while the reverse has the inscription 'FOR LONG SERVICE
IN THE COLONIAL AUXILIARY FORCES' surrounded by a pattern of oak leaves on the left and laurel on the right surmounted by a crown.
The suspender is plain and straight and found either swivelling or fixed.

Naming: Engraved or impressed in capital letters.
Comments: Awarded to Warrant Officers, NCO's, and enlisted men who had completed 20 years service (war service counted double) in the Colonial Auxiliary Forces.
This medal was issued during the reigns of Queen Victoria, King Edward VII and King George V. It was discontinued in 1930 and replaced by the Efficiency Medal.
