un-named but often found privately named.
Comments: About 26,800 medals
were awarded to troops who were present at the Durbar celebrations in India to mark the coronation of King George V. However only around a quarter of those present actually received this medal.
Most awards were made in silver but a small number of gold medals were issued to Indian princely rulers and certain high ranking government officials. |
