Description: The obverse of this
medal bears the head of Queen Victoria and the legend 'VICTORIA
REGINA'. There are two reverses for this award with the inscriptions
'CITY OF LONDON POLICE' or 'METROPOLITAN POLICE' surrounding a wreath
within which are the words 'JUBILEE OF HER MAJESTY QUEEN VICTORIA'
and the date '1887' below. The
suspender is plain and attached to the medal via a claw mount.
