The suspender is plain and straight found either swivelling or fixed.

Comments: Awarded for minor naval actions and service for which a
separate medal is not issued this medal remained in service for
almost 50 years. The clasp 'BOMB AND MINE CLEARANCE 1945-46' is
rare being issued to Australian naval personnel only. This medal
was replaced by the Campaign Service Medal in 1964. |
