SILVER JUBILEE MEDAL 1935


Date Instituted: 1935.

Description: The obverse bears the two crowned busts of King George V and Queen Mary in robes of state while the reverse has the crowned GRI monogram flanked by the dates '1911' and '1935'.

Metal: Silver.

Size: 32mm.

Clasps: None authorised for this medal.

Ribbon: Red with two dark blue stripes and a white stripe at either edge.

Naming: Issued un-named.

Comments: Some 85,234 medals were awarded to mark the Silver Jubilee of King George V.
