Description: The
obverse bears the crowned head of Queen Elizabeth II looking right
and the legend ‘ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA FID. DEI.’
The reverse has the coat of arms for the Falklands Islands and the
motto ‘DESIRE THE RIGHT’ below and the words ‘SOUTH ATLANTIC MEDAL’
above. The suspender is straight with a simple ornate mount.
