TERRITORIAL EFFICIENCY MEDAL


Date Instituted: 1921.

Description: The obverse of this oval medal bears the head of King George V while the reverse has the inscription 'TERRITORIAL EFFICIENCY MEDAL'. The ribbon is attached by a metal loop fixed to the medal by an ornate claw mount.

Metal: Silver.

Size: 38mm high and 31mm wide..

Bars: None authorised for this medal.

Ribbon:

Naming: Impressed capital letters.

Comments: Awarded to NCO's and enlisted men of the Territorial Army for 12 years service.

The medal was replaced in 1930 by the Efficiency Medal.
