ULSTER DEFENCE REGIMENT LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL


Date Instituted: 1982.

Description: The obverse bears the head of Queen Elizabeth II while the reverse has the inscription 'FOR LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT'. The suspender is fixed with a bar bearing the letters 'UDR'.

Metal: Silver.

Size: 36mm.

Bars: Bars are authorised for an additional 15 years of service.

Ribbon:

Naming: Impressed capital letters.

Comments: Awarded for 15 years service with the regiment. Officers are also eligible if they spent 12 of the 15 years in the ranks.
