Date Instituted: 1900.

Description: The obverse of this medal bears the head of Queen Victoria while the reverse has the figure of Hibernia looking over Kingstown harbour where the Royal Yacht is seen in the background. The suspender is plain and straight with an ornate claw mount.

Metal: Bronze.

Size: 36mm.

Clasps: None authorised for this medal.

Ribbon:

Naming: Engraved capital letters.

Comments: Awarded to members of the Royal Irish Constabulary and Dublin Metropolitan Police who provided policing and security for Queen Victoria's visit to Ireland.
